The Story
The idea for this blog came through watching hundreds of seasons of TV shows and many movies. During these viewings, there are moments that make us go beyond the scenario and deeply observe something more than just good entertainment. In general, I would consider the world of cinema and television one of the most significant parts of modern art. Nevertheless, the moments I am talking about go beyond even art. There are instances so powerful that they encapsulate the value of an entire season or even the whole show. These could be a single phrase or a small scene that embodies profound understanding and resonates deeply with the viewer, which is, of course, individually considered.
None of the further evaluation or discussion is intended to be understood as critique. Every moment of actors’ performances, directors’ work, or screenplay writers’ skills, of course, requires enormous effort and years of experience. This blog is just an expression in different ways. It is about TV shows and movies viewed from a different perspective. Therefore, there is no reason to call this idea criticism; rather, it should be seen as visionary.
I deeply desire for Not so Movie to be a place where these different perspectives are shared, and where the magic of cinema is celebrated through the lens of personal interpretation and emotional impact. The goal is to create a community of enthusiasts who find joy in discussing and dissecting the profound moments that make cinema and television a truly magical experience.
